unwarranted alias expansion when selecting from Ctrl-T popup

All,

I’m on Beta 53. When I enter a table alias and a period I get the column list in a pop-up.
When I select an item from the pop-up the column name gets inserted into the editor window (which if fine)
but at the same time the alias is replaced by the full table name.

This kinda beats the prupose of using shorthand aliases…

Can this be fixed, please?
