which file toad keeps the format and options.

Dear All:

Is there a file where toad keeps the options like line number, word wrap in editor and to save the editor contents when leaving ? This is similar to the file like CONNECTIONPWDS.INI where toad saves the connection password information. I am wondering if we save the file containing options and if some file corruption occur,then replace with backup files to save time and frustrations.

Also is there a way to disable the active style feature in toad options+data grids +visual ? I rather like the simple results grid as before.

If your user profile is XXXXX saved under c:\Users\XXXXX then this file is:
c:\Users\XXXXX\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\11.5 trial\User Files\

OR:
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\11.5 trial\User Files\

Where “11.5 trial” may be changed with your version of Toad.
