Is there anyway I can tell if I have the 32 or 64 bit version installed? Looking at Win-Task-manager it seem I have the ^4-bit version running (Win-7 Prof).
Since I’m upgrading TOAD, I want to be sure which version i need.

In Toad, go to Help -> About. if it’s 64 bit, it will say there.
For any app, in task manager on 64 bit windows, the 32 bit apps have “*32” after their names on the processes tab.
It will display your current version within the Help > About… window under the Toad for Oracle heading. For example, Toad for Oracle Xpert (32-bit).
