Access is denied when trying to install

Toad for Oracle

I downloaded toad_for_oracle2018_x64_trial_full.exe, I clicked on it. I got a modal dialog that said simply “Access is denied”.

I searched for this error and found entries on the Quest site, but no resolution.

Unfortunately, I am giving up on Toad. I used it quite successfully 10 years ago, but unfortunately no longer.

You could see if you can run it as Administrator. R-click > Run as Administrator
