Provide some info.

  1. Version of Toad, e.g. 13.1

Does your error message have the following line item where you can "click here" for additional info?

If so, click the link, activate the "Call Stack" tab, check the "Copy to Clipboard" checkbox, then click OK. Paste the contents back here in a reply.

I'm receiving the same error on Toad for oracle 13.3.0.181 (32 bit version). Uploaded call stack.

Thank you!

Hi Bryan,

The useful part of the error log is the call stack. Use the "Copy to clipboard" checkbox as shown above. It includes a lot more info than if you just CTRL+C from the window.

Hi Bryan,

I believe that one has been fixed in more recent versions of Toad. I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that you are running under Parallels. I don't see anything that matches it in our anonymous error logs that we collect (we don't collect version 13.3 anymore).

You can probably solve it by these steps

  1. Shut down toad
  2. Browse to your user files folder (C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\13.3\User Files)
  3. delete ToadActions.dat
  4. Restart Toad

Note: If you have ever set anything up in Automation Designer, you'll have to set it up again after this process.

If the error returns, you may want to upgrade to version 15.0 (or 15.1, which comes out in a few weeks)
