I guess it would be very helpful option to allow searching for strings through all open Editor windows for all/current connection. Something like you can find in Notepad++
As a fellow user, I'd agree with your idea... great enhancement. Quest Dev team please take note.
Note that Toad's Find feature does remember your search patterns from Toad launch to launch, so at least you won't have to re-enter your search patterns for every Find you do in every editor.
Same is true of the Find macros, which get remembered forever, unless you remove or change them. In the snap below, I saved a Find-ALL macro to search for a particular string.
We actually released this feature in yesterday's beta.
It was added to the "Find in Files" feature (in main menu -> Search)
