Any plans to update to MySQL 8.0?

Are there any plans to update the packaged MySQL version to a newer version? Preferably over 8.0? With the release of MySQL 8.0 many new features were included which will expand the list of supported functions when writing your own SQL to process the output. MySQL 8.0 was originally released on 4/19/18 so almost 2 years ago.

Hi - unfortunately this is not on the immediate timeline. I will add this to the enhancement requests though.

Toad Data Point and Toad Intelligence Central will support MySQL 8.0 in the 6.4 release which is planned for Jan 13 2025
