Team Coding:

Team Coding / Code Analysis integration has an option to prevent check in where an object fails to meet Code Analysis specifications.

To enable, go to Team Coding Configuration - Use Code Analysis - Configure. Code Analysis Validation Configuration Dialog will open. Select one of the following options in the ‘Check in validation’ radio group.

Do not prevent check in

Prevent check-in on failed validation metrics

Prevent check in on metrics lower than check out

Prevent check in on failed validation metrics and/or metrics lower than check out.

If the option ‘Display warning dialog on validation failures’ is checked, then a dialog with details of errors will display on validation errors, otherwise a validation error message will display in the output window.

Hmm. When I went to TOAD World to download the beta, it gave me the 12.1 beta. In case it makes a difference, I downloaded the 64 bit version.

We checked and double checked this yesterday. I just checked again and I’m getting the 12.5 installer. Have you cleared your internet browser cache? You
are downloading from this page?

I have just installed this new beta.

When I run it, it starts but as soon as I connect to a db, it gives a long list of errors and almost crashes.

Anyone else with this problem?

What O/S (and is it 32/64 bit?) are you running and did you install the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Toad? We haven’t seen any issues here, but we’ll try
to replicate if you send us this information.

We have not seen this on our office. Can you please get some screenshots of the errors and collect some call stacks? (send toad.elf file from your user files
folder)

Hi Mauro - The problem has been replicated and identified. It’s a problem with a component and appears to be limited to the XP O/S. We are looking at fixing the problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks for reporting it.

We will post back to this thread when the problem is fixed.
