categories disappear when model is updated

I like to create a separate category for each schema and color code their entities. However, whenever I do a “Model Update” the categories are wiped out. Sometimes the entities retain the color that the category had which can be accessed by right clicking on the entity > format > general > brush color. How can I get the categories to remain whenever a model is updated?

Hi Knot22,
you can use in model update wizard frame Select Object Type. Choose “Detailed Settings” and in the Tree uncheck Categories(under Model).

Thanks Daril. It is behaving as though this box will need to be unchecked manually in the Wizard each time the model is updated. Is there a way to make this setting permanent?
