Code Assist Table/Field names always Upper Case

I recently got my company to buy me 10.5 and after the upgrade, when I use autocomplete on case sensitive field names, it just enters in the name in all capitals.

in version 8 it would quote field names it detected with lower case letters in it. Is there any way to enable this behavior in 10.5

Try Options -> Editor -> Use lower case object names from select windows

No fix, just makes the entire table.field lowercase. Attaching a screenshot that visually shows whats going on.
