Commit not providing feedback

I’ve noticed for a while now that if I click the commit button on the data tab vs. the uppermost tool bar that I don’t get the “commit executed at xxx”. It’s a little disconcerting at times. Did I? Didn’t I? Better commit again just to
be safe…

The commit/rollback buttons above the data grid only affect the session for that grid. If you have threaded queries enabled, that’s a different session than
what the Editor & elsewhere is using. So that’s why you don’t see the message at the bottom of the screen.

If you use the main toolbar button, you’ll get the message (but it will also commit all sessions related to that connection)

Weird. I wonder why my inquiries and responses via email post twice? The first time I didn’t think much of it, but now it’s doing it consistently. I noticed
the response from John (I think it was) posted twice as well. I’m sure it’s something I did while trying to get my company email associated to my account properly so I could use email again, but I have no idea what it would be or how to fix it. Advice?

I had problems with replies via email for the past week. After sending a reply I'd get a message an hour later that it couldn't be delivered. I'd then post my reply on toadworld.com. Yesterday they fixed the glitch and I saw some of
my earlier email replies come through. I wonder if that's part of it.

Yep – I too reverted to using web interface and then yesterday all my pending email replies from earlier came through. So lots of double posts – not user error
– system was broke for a while.

Hi all,

There was an issue with our DNS records that were messing with our email system. This was fixed yesterday evening so everything should be working correctly again. After the fix went in, all the queued up emails were sent out leading to several double posts and replies.
