Copy settings from previous versions

When I install a new version of Toad, it automatically copies the settings from the previous version.

I like to follow the latest Toad beta versions and use them in my daily work. When I install a new release, it then copies the settings from the previous "normal" release, not from the latest beta version.

I'd like to get a dialog that lets me choose from which version (or none at all) the settings should be copied. Oracle SQL Developer does this.

We don't like to show prompts during installation. Most users want to just get started and not answer questions.

Go to Main Menu -> Utilities -> Copy User Settings. You can import settings from any other Toad installation.
