Copy with drag'n drop in Editor

Copy-Paste operation with drag and drop doesn’t work in every situations. To paste a text beyond end of line is not possible if the insertation point is the same as the last line of the selected text.

I'm not quite following you here. Can you post a screenshot of your selection and indicate where it is you're trying to drop it?

Here is the screenshots what you’ve requested.
I tried to simulate the copy-paste fail on the first 2 pictures. On the third screenshot you can see and example where drag-n-drop copy works correctly.

Looks like a bug in the core edit control. It will not be addressed for 12.7.
