Data grid pops up as separate window how to change it

I’m on TOAD for Oracle ver 9.7.2.5
When I first started with it, when I ran a query, the data grid
was included in the main window, that could scroll.
I must have changed something because now the data grid pops up
as a separate window over my query.

I’d like to put the data grid back how it was, and I cannot figure this out.
Any help?

New to the forum, and didn’t find a search function in the forum.

Sounds like you have the data grid tab undocked in the Editor. Try dragging it
by the title bar to the bottom of the Toad desktop until it snaps into place and
becomes docked once more.

Yes, that was it.

I thought that was it, and tried with no luck.
Had two others try too with no luck.

After I read your response kept trying and finally got it.

Good to hear. If the floating window proves difficult to re-dock, just try
double-clicking the title bar.

Thanks for the tip. Double clicking the title bar, worked. After hovering it around for half hour, getting more and more frustrated. You saved my day :slight_smile:
