Data Point 6.2 Bind Variable error

My users are seeing an error when using a bind variable more than once in a sql statement.

The error is "Count field incorrect"

Example:
select :datevar as yyyymm_date from tbl_name
where reporting_period = :datevar
limit 10;

This is new behavior with version 6.2.

Hi George,

I just ran an experiment in Toad Data Point 6.2 whicle connected to SQL Server and did not receive and error message. What data platform are you using?

Not using sqlsvr using Oracle and Netezza both have this issue.

I did quick experiment on Oracle connection and it works fine - no error message:

Hi - just tried to recreate in MySQL and have no error message. I don't have a netezza system in my env. Can you open a support issue at support.quest.com
