displaying result set from a sql statement

all of a sudden I cannot see the results of a sql statement. I usually see a result set but no longer.

Thank you for your input. I suspect under other circumstances but one day late last week I had to force close Toad. aFter that I did not see data grid or anything else you displayed on your screen, so I decided on an outside chance that I had to restore my default desktop. That worked. I don’t know how I did that but now I can see the results I was expecting.
