Double Click on Database name or Table Name in Object Explorer - Faults Toad (HF_5.5.0.1073-14-June-2011)

Toad-ss !!!

This problem has a work-around-solution by ‘Casey Chiu’ @ Quest.

It seems that if you import settings from Toad-SS 5.0 or 5.5 Beta into the
Production 5.5 The error is produced.

The work-around-solution is simple, I just renamed or delete the appropriate
directory and the problem on double clicking the Database name or Table name NO
LONGER occurred. Below is the dialogue from between Casey and myself.

Therefore, IF you get this or any other problem right out of the box with 5.5
golden or production, you might want to do what I did and to rename the 5.5
folder and restart Toad-ss WITHOUT Importing and previous version folder info.

Here is what my folder look like on Wind7-64bit

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad

C:\Users\ Hank_Freeman \AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad

From here I could choose the correct folder to rename. See below for details

Lastly, Thanks Casey for such a quick catch on emailing me the work-around.
