I was editing and saving my current Editor session and then needed to preserve a
table by renaming the table.

Gita and Igor, this situation has not been re-created after a Toad-SS
application restart. I believe that the other issue of the day as reported could
have cause this issue as collateral damage because I did not know I should
restart Toad-ss after a fault, which may or may not be the needed. What I feel
is that Toad-ss was buzzing my system after the cursor movement faults so I need
instructions on how to debug the Toad-ss application that is having
issues…

Again, if there are setting or trace options I can set to trap system issues
please let me know. George Torres has sent me the following but I do not know if
these are what is needed here since most of the issues I am finding are
intermittent. Soooo, let me know what I can do…

@Torres:

In Toad, go to Tools | Execution Trace | To File, this will place a check mark
on “To File”. Replicate the issue and then browse to default folder,
“C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Quest
Software\Toad for SQL Server 5.0” and locate the files and send them to
me:
