Error messages appear before restore options can be entered

Four informational error messages appear before the user has an opportunity to enter data in the restore dialog. If you right click on Databases in the object explorer and choose restore, the restore dialog appears with the immediate message box “You must select a restore source.” After clicking OK another message box opens that says “You must specify a target database name.” Again, clicking OK displays another message box, again prompting that “You must select a restore source.” Clicking OK brings up another message box with a repeat of the second message box “You must specify a target database name.” Clicking OK on this message box finally allows you to enter values in the restore database dialog.
