Toad for Oracle

I'm having to replace SQL/Nav with Toad. After I install Toad and open the application, I get an error "No valid oracle client found.".

I've attached a screen shot.

My machine has a 32-Bit operating system.

My path starts with C:\Oracle\OraClient11gR2\bin;...

Any help would be appreciiated.

You need to install a 64-bit Oracle client and properly configure it. Search for “No valid oracle client” in Toad World’s search and you’ll find many similar posts for this.

Also, if you have 32-bit OS, you shouldn’t have 64-bit Toad. I’d double check all of that.

woops - missed that you have a 32-bit O/S - you need to install 32-bit Toad only then.
