Excel Instance no longer working

I have Toad for Data Analysts 2.5.0.913 and just yesterday I was able to invoke download to an Excel Instance. Today, when I invoke it I get the message about having to install the Interop from Microsoft. Because I don’t have Admin rights on my PC I am unable to install it (without filling out multiple forms!!).

I have exited both TOAD and Excel and restarted each but that did not resolve the issue. I have not yet restarted my PC to see if that clears the issue.

Does anyone know why it was working one minute and then not the next?

Hi Barjan,

I would suggest as your first step to restart your PC. Sometimes there can be extra instances of an Excel process running which might impact the ability to export.

Still an issue
