Generate statement does not work

When I right click a table in schema browser, and click generate statement, for example select or insert, then nothing happens.
I cannot see it generated any where.
What could be wrong?

Nothing wrong... the statement is placed in your clipboard. After generating a statement, try Ctl-V (paste) in the Editor.

Thanks, Yes, I tried that , but it keeps copied a previous script that has wrong syntax in it.
I restarted Toad, and it worked.
