I have Toad for Oracle v 10.1.1.8. I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out in View>Toad Options but can’t make headway. I’m sure it’s a simple fix but I can’t find it.
When I highlight any SQL or any text at all in Editor, it doesn’t highlight it in classic Windows format. In other words, if I want to copy the phrase “select * from tmp.table”, I click to the left of the word “select” and drag my cursor over the entire line. When I do this, I can’t tell that I’ve done this… it doesn’t highlight that phrase so I can tell what I’m highlighting. Visually, at least, I have no idea what I’ve highlighted. The closest I’ve been able to get it to do is change the color of the ‘highlighted’ text… but I want it highlight in the classic style where it creates a block over the highlighted text.
Have you heard of this problem? Can you help?
