If you highlight text on two or more lines and hit tab, it will indent the text on both lines. In 12.6, if you highlight the text on a single line and hit tab, it will also indent. In 12.7.0.51 however, it just replaces the highlighted text with a tab.
Please could we have the same behaviour for a single line as we do for multiple lines, a la 12.6?

This is fixed (in .52) if you keep the highligting to the same line.
However, if you forward highlight onto a second line (ie. highlight text after the caret) and then hit tab (or the indent button), it disappears. Bizarrely, this is not the case if you backwards highlight (ie. highlight text before the caret). It doesn’t seem to matter if the text is indented already or not.
