How do I get TDP to recognize IBM db2 and Oracle drivers?

Because TDP 4.1 doesn’t include IBM db2 and Oracle drivers in the software download, I have to locate and download said drivers.

Once I have the drivers downloaded, where do I put them for TDP to find them? I am not a DBA nor an IT support technician, so I don’t know how to make it work.

You would need to download the Oracle client software from Oracle’s website and install it per the installer instructions.

You would need to download the DB2 client software from the DB2 website and install it per the installer instructions.

Once these are installed TDP should recognize them and allow you to create the connections you need.

Generally, the installers have default locations so if you use those then you should be fine.

I am assuming that this is the first time you have used TDP and you are not simply upgrading from a previous version.
