Import Employee Calendar to View Resource Availability

We want to use Dynamics 365 CRM to plan our company resources when we create project offers for our customers. The idea is to have the employee's availability available within the "Resource Availability" module (all employees have their own calendar where they insert their booked slots).
I found a way to import my own calendar entries, but I have to confirm each entry manually - and I didn't find a way to connect it to the Resource-/Project-module.
Is this possible? (btw, we are not a huge company that has nor wants a person that is solely responsible for resource planning - this should entirely be doable by the PM)
