Not sure what you’re looking for, but if you want the entities in your workspace to display with the physical name of the field, simply go to View | Show Logical Names. This will de-select this option and display entities with their physical names.

As an aside, I typically use the Caption field to store the business-user name of the field. There is a Description tab on the entity that can be used to store additional information about the field, such as typical values for the field or a more detail explanation of the intent.
