I would like to request an enhancement to TIC. In the Toad job you can set the failure notice to be sent via email, but it would be nice if TIC had an “admin” type failure notification. Even though the Toad job has the notification set up it would be nice if TIC had a similar feature that if a job failed an email could be sent to one or more email addresses with the job name and time it failed. This is similar to how some other batch scheduling tools work. The user will specify failure notice for the job, but the batch tool will log the failure and send the email to a monitoring group, for example – network support. It would be great if this was an option in TIC to do this as well.
