Licence Definition of "Seat"

License Definition of “Seat”?

@SAM - You out there Sam. I found this in our licence agreement so not sure it contradicts what a “Seat” means… “This license consists of the right, for each licensed copy of the Software, to install, use, access, run, or otherwise interact with one copy of such Software on a single computer at a time, in and for Licensee’s own internal purposes and business operations, in accordance with the related Documentation”

I have a question at the end of this thread, which by opening a new topic, I'm hoping someone can answer.

I’m not speaking from a legal standpoint, but this is how I understand it (as a developer who doesn’t get involved in licensing).

So, very informally - If you are asking if you can install on license of Toad on say, your laptop and desktop, then the answer is yes. The point is that you don’t buy one license and install it for multiple people to use on their own machines.
