Minimal Impact on TIC Upgrade - 6.2 > 6.3

Is there a way to upgrade from TIC 6.2 to 6.3 with minimal impact? I mean, without reinstalling everything.

My company have a contract with Quest and I already have the installation packages. I cannot run an upgrade over Internet as the servers resides on a restricted network layer.

What would be the best way to upgrade without the need to go thru whole setup again and not having both versions installed on system? (already did this mistake with previous 5.x versions :grimacing:). Thanks.

If you're running the TIC installer on the same server as your current TIC version is installed, then the installer will acknowledge that is an older version of TIC already installed, and will update your current TIC to the latest version in place.

Contact Support for best practice upgrade procedures if you want to be extra careful, or if you have special considerations.
