In the graphic below, I am exporting the result of a select into SQL Insert
statements. There are 578,146 rows of data and it takes a considerable amount of
time.
However there is no way to validate that the process is running until it is
done, see second graphic.
So I would think that to have some sort of progress information somewhere or in
the Background Process, would be a constructive new feature request.
Please note that I have not sent to to support as an issue.
