I am wondering if it is possible to customize Toad to show my schema browser table list and write in the editor on the same screen ?
Maybe you should use the object palette and the editor - read the help on the object palette. You open it from main menu -> view. I think that’s what you’re looking for - it offers drag and drop into the editor

Take a look at View -> Object Palette. In addition to displaying the items, you can drag from there directly into the editor.
