I had used Toad in my office 2 years back and now I’d like to learn oracle so I just installed Toad for Oracle. I have no database. How do I get started now?
either download and install Oracle Express edition of the database or download a virtual machine pre-configured with a running database. Then make sure to install the Oracle client tools - and configure / edit tnsnames.ora text file with alias pointing to you database.
