Hallo,

Der oben angeführte Datentyp (Oracle Spatial) kann in Toad in keiner Abfrage verwendet werden, da das Programm einen Systemfehler verursacht der zum Absturz führt.

Gibt es eine Lösung dieses Problems durch Konfiguration der TOAD Umgebung oder ein handelt es sich um einen Fehler im Programm (BUG) ?

Meine installierte Software mit Angabe der Versionsnummer

  • Version of Oracle Database

    • Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production

  • Version of Oracle client in use by Toad

    • Oracle Client 11.2.0.1.0 (64bit)

  • Version of Toad

    • Toad for Oracle Professional 11.0.0.116

You must use a 32-bit Oracle client with Toad since Toad is a 32-bit app –
regardless of what Oracle you’re talking to.

habe mit beiden Versionen 32/64 bit getestet das Resultat war das gleiche.

Interpreted (through babelfish) as: 32/64 bit has tested the result was the same
with both versions

Keep in mind, Toad being 32 bit and your Oracle client being 64 bit will cause
loads of other issues. So while changing to a 32 bit client may not resolve the
current issue, it is still necessary.
