Orale Types MDSYS.ST_ANNOT_TEXTELEMENT_ARRAY

Hi,

this data type (Oracle Spatial data type) in any query causes a TOAD crash !

Does anyone have a workaround for this problem or is a BUG ?

You need to supply a lot more information I'm afraid:

  • Version of Oracle database
  • Version of Oracle client in use by Toad
  • Version of Toad

Some versions of Toad are older, ditto clients etc and may not "know" about this data type. I know I have problems with Oracle 9i client on 10g databases when selecting from TIMESTAMP WITH TIMEZONE data types.
