Part of the reason for my vehemence before was due to the great effort and
support shown by the TOAD dev team, and I couldn’t stand the thought of someone
trying to cheat them out of revenue that is rightfully theirs.
There is a Free Version, and a Trial … they are there to be used.

I was wondering what this was all about, then your OT Part 1 post
arrived! The confusion cleared.
I've never had anyone ask me for a key and site message directly before,
they usually send a request to the list asking for it. Bit daft if you
ask me. Asking on the list shows that they:
If they want stuff for free, SQL*Plus and/or SQL Developer are available
Ok, I do have a slight bias, then I'm also right!
