Paste from Clipboard in Data Grids

Hello,

I noticed the following in the last release notes for Toad for Oracle 16.3:
Data Grids

  • Paste from clipboard across multiple selected cells

How does it works?
Is this what I think it is? We have been looking for a long time for an option to insert multiple records into a table from the clipboard.

Hi Louis,

Sorry, this is not "paste an entire row (or multiple rows) at once".

This feature allows you to paste the same value into multiple cells. See below.

The cells don't all have to be in the same column.
