Hi,

sorry for newbie question. I am using Dell SQL Optimizer for Oracle 8.9.1. I was not able to find possibility to recover crashed (stopped) optimizing process for “Plan control” (hint adder). Because we have very complicated SQL (Toad could run several days), sometimes optimizing process stop working and did not continue. Only possibility, which I found, is re-run whole process again (but from beginning). Is there any possibility to save progress (no just SQL), or pause it and continue later? I found only possibility for aborting process, which than start also from beginning.

Hi,

Thank you for the suggestion.Our current release doesn’t support pausing the process and then continuing later. We do have a plan to provide this feature in later version.
