Is there a way that I can set Toad up not to continually give me a new result sets tab each time I hit the F5 button? I have some developers that are working on conversions and they run lots of smal SQL across many tables and they get so many tabs across the top of their page they get lost or the application appears to run low on memory at times and has some problems.
The default number of result set tabs is 5. If unchanged, only the last 5 result sets are retained.
You can change the “Number of tabs to display” option in Tools -> Options -> Database -> Script Result if you want less than 5.
