Toad for Oracle Base Edition (32-bit)
24.2.79.4007
Saving a file in Toad sometimes uses uppercase file extensions, why is this? It's just plain weird and non standard - I don't know of any other program that saves as uppercase file extensions!
- Open up CLOB editor in grid, type a name without an extension, e.g. myfile using default Text Files (*.txt)
- Click Save.
- File saved as myfile.TXT not myfile.txt (to match the selected file type description)
