Scheduling Automation

Do you need Admin rights to your machine in order to Schedule tasks for Automation through TDA? The Microsoft documentation I read doesn’t mention needing this type of access for creating Scheduled Tasks through Control Panel. I wasn’t sure if this was necessary from TDA.

No Admin rights should not be necessary to schedule automatain.

How to I get the automation feature to just open a Access databse. I have a Access DB with a Autoexec Macro so i just need to have the scheduler open the DB at a certain time of day .

Hi, am trying to schedule using the Automation Designer in TOAD 11.6. When i have the Admin rights the scheduled query is run successfully. But when i don’t have the admin rights its not executed.

Do we need to have admin access?
