Setting up TNS connection

I am having trouble setting up a tns connection. I have followed the following instructions:

but am stuck on number 6 as I do not see a TNS tab. Also no connection shows up. Please help if you know what is wrong or where I can find the tns tab.

This article is applicable to Toad for Oracle.
For TDP you should find all your databases on ”Database name:” dropdown list.

I had the same issue with running TDP on Win7/64bit. I installed the 32-bit client, and added the environment paths in “My Computer”. This resolved the problem.

Yes, currently Toad Data Point only supports 32 bit clients (We are hoping to add 64 bit client support in the next release).
