Size of "Jump Search"

I wanted to give "Jump Search" a try, but I do not like to give up my real estate, so I made it small and moved it to the right. Problem is, that the popup gets the width from the text field, so it looks like this:

If I decrease the size of the TOAD window it is not visible at all. Can you give this a minimum size somehow? Should also work if it is left in the toolbar.
