It's not just him. I tested his sample script in the latest beta and got the same result.

Hi,
i am rewriting some OWB packages. I suppose you know how the code from OWB packege looks like, its terrible.
First step is that I copy batch command, and then I remove quotation marks (char ") using toad replace command (CTRL+R).
I choose to replace string " to nothing, no regular expression options, and for one simple comand (about 150 lines of code) it takes about 30s (version 12.7.0.39 32bit).
In version 12.5.0.99 same replace, same options, it takes about 3 seconds.
