I created my first cross-connection query using 2 different SQL Server databases. The query works correctly but when I close Toad and re-open the query, I'm getting the error below. I thought it would prompt me for the passwords for the 2 SQL Server connections being used but that's not happening.
Connections should be saved, so this is weird... might be one for Quest's Dev team to take a look.
Are you using Windows Authentication to connect, or database auth? Is VPN required to connect?
I'm using database authentication. VPN not required.
