The color of NULL

There is no way to see the exact time of execution in the Editor that I can
think of other than by executing as script as Greg suggested. If just taking a
screenshot is good enough for the auditors then it might be good enough to just
get a close enough time. If you have SnagIt you can get the sysdate from the
connection bar as well as the query and grid if you want after execution. See
attached.

I use hypersnap. How did you manage to select the popup window?

SnagIt supports keystroke to capture and will capture any tooltips that are
visible. I moused over the connection bar and hit my keystroke, CTRL+Shift+P or
something like that and it let me grab everything visible including the tooltip.

I was able to get that with the CTRL+PrintScreen key on my keyboard.

LOL – my null indicator was yellow, it sure didn’t seem so “in
your face”, I kinda like the in your face response as outlined by John!

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how to uninstall TOAD 10.0.

Thanks,

-Deepak

Never mind, I did it via Control Panel. Initially I was looking for an
‘Uninstaller’ provided by TOAD - hopefully this uninstall was clean enough.

Evening Deepak,

Can someone please tell me how to uninstall TOAD 10.0.
Start -> programs -> Quest Software -> Toad For Oracle 10 -> Uninstall

or

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs.

The question is, why do you want to deinstall Toad 10?

Cheers,
Norm. [TeamT]

Norm,
I was on 9.7.2 then installed 10. For whatever reasons I kept getting extremely annoying ‘access violation’ errors. Which is why decided to do a uninstall and a clean install. Which I just did.

Hopefully it will be fine from here on. Let’s see.

Hi,

Uninstalling via add/remove is just as clean as uninstalling through Quest
Installer. All files/folders, shortcuts, and registry entries will be removed.
Toad user files (customizations) will remain in your application data directory
in a folder called “Toad 10_Unisntalled” or something like that. This way if you
re-install you can always manually restore your origianal customizations.

Thanks,

Brad

I too am getting frequent access violations since I upgraded to Toad 10.1,
particularly when editing packages. Is this a common problem?

Ian

I too was getting access violations during working with packages and finally got
tired and decided to uninstall and re-install Toad 10.

After the re-install, things have been running smoothly.

Perhaps worth a try for you as well.
