Toad 10.1.0.7 - View / Formatting Options - get error message

I have installed Toad 10, and the patch on four workstations. On all of the workstations, when you go to View / Formatting Options, I get an error message: FmtOptions.exe has encountered a problem.
More information has: appname: fmtoptions.exe Appvers: 5.136.4.0 ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.3520 Offset: 0000100b.

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

If not, I will mail support.

It’s been reported, and here’s a workaround

Problem Description

When I select View | Formatter options in Toad’s menu, I get an error message
and the formatter options do not open. Also, if I double click on the
fmtoptions.exe file, in the Toad for Oracle 10 folder, I get the same error.

The exact error can differ from machine to machine.

Resolution

WORKAROUND:

  1. Close Toad for Oracle.
  2. Rename the FmtOptions.exe file, located in the C:Program FilesQuest
SoftwareToad for Oracle 10 folder, to FmtOptions.exe.old.
  3. Place the FmtOptions.exe file that is attached to this solution in your Toad
    for Oracle 10 folder.
  4. Launch Toad and selecting View | Formatter Options.
  5. Without closing Toad, remove the FmtOptions.exe file you put in your Toad for
Oracle 10 folder and rename the FmtOptions.exe.old back to FmtOptions.exe.

STATUS:
Waiting for fix to be released in a future version of Toad for Oracle.

Thanks Jeff … that worked … but I would suggest an improvement in the
