Hi there,
we have quite some problems while testing the new version of Toad 5.0 beta for DB2 LUW. It seems to be quite unstable on 3 computers we are currently testing it and it crashes regularly leaving us no chance of quitting the application other than the good old Task Manager.
Unfortunately, there is no regular pattern to be observed when the crashes occur, as so far it has happened:
- when closing an Editor Tab while running a query in the background
- when canceling running job
- during execution of a simple select statement
We have the Object Explorer open with a TreeList view, an Editor and Background Process Tab, as well as a Results tab.
Unfortunately, no Error Trace Msg is displayed, which can be provided.
Do you have some solution for this or have you encountered such problems with other users? This is major concern for us as it affects our daily work.
