If i connect toad with oracle by using username/password,
will it connect to all the schemas by default or to the particular schema only?
by using schema instead of username/pass it connects to a schema only,
please provide some basic toad learning link as well.

If you connect with Toad to the user scott with password pussycat on
database mydb, then you will connect specifically to the scott schema.
Depending on what privileges the scott user has been granted, by other
schemas and/or by the sys/system schemas, then you may well be able to
see data and code belonging to those other users.

Try looking in the \doc folder where Toad is installed. Then there's
