Toad for SQL Server Development Team.

Installed Toad and after the install I left the View Release Notes and the Start
Toad checked, clicked OK, it asked me if I wanted to migrate any settings, I
selected Toad beta 5.6 and this popped up.

I clicked OK, this dialog box disappeared and Toad stayed running. I closed Toad
and restarted it, everything appears to be working fine now.

Hi guys,

I am thrilled with some of the new features in the GUI, especially

  • filtering out the irrelevant columns on code completion
  • directly editable column list under object explorer and
  • auto-complete for group-by columns.

The latter two were my feature requests some time ago, so thanks for implementing. It is great to see the requested features in the next releases… Thanks for listening to your users.

BTW, I am having hard time entering my 47 (yes, fortyseven) chars long license key on each and every update. Is there a way to migrate the key file as well when updating?

I do a copy and paste, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V for Key and once for name…pretty
simple I thought.

Matt,

You are the only one who confronted with this I suppose. Please update me on
this if it reproduces on your environment.

Alexander Maximov

Oops, I see your update in separate thread. Sorry. Disregard this  Will try to
take a look what’s wrong with snippets.
